For over twenty years, State of the Arts
has been showcasing a wide range of Israeli contemporary art,
including landscape, still life,
abstract painting and photography.

We arrange personalized tours to artists’ studios and galleries,
as well as privately commissioned
artwork and portraits.

Karyn Gellman moved to Israel in the summer of 1981.
After graduating from Hebrew University, Karyn worked at Mishkenot Sha’ananim,
the official artists’ guest house of the City of Jerusalem, and the Israel Museum.
While raising her family Karyn continued to volunteer at the Israel Museum.
In 1997, she was asked to curate the newly opened Sadie Rennert Center.

Karyn is passionate about introducing the world of Israeli art to collectors and first time art buyers.
Whether you are building a collection of Israeli Art, searching for a special work of art,
or hoping to be surprised, Karyn will patiently guide you.

Book a visit and see what’s on display.
From there, you can choose which artists you’re interested in meeting.
Tucked away in private homes and industrial zones,
visit studios that are not always accessible to the public.
